Jeanne Rees was born and musically trained in New York City.  Her voice was discovered when she was very young.  At the age of 3 she was singing on the radio in a weekly children's talent program.  She performed on that show for 3 years.  When she was 6 years old, she began voice training with Master music teacher Fay Foster.  She studied with her for 19 years.  During that time she performed extensively in the New York area in Musical productions, concerts, and Operas.

Jeanne won a vocal scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music and completed her training there.  She appeared in the NBC TV Opera in NYC with Leontyne Price, concertized in Washington DC, the NYC area, Greater NY, NJ, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Canada.  She is a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). 

Jeanne has a limited number of openings for some talented new students at her Charlotte NC studio at this time.
